Saturday Savings Report!

I did most of my bargain shopping exclusively at Target this week! And am pleased with my results. This is what I got.
Again, two transactions this week so I could immediately use my gift card that I received for the Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner.

Transaction #1: $6.65
The Scrubbing Bubbles Cleaner was regular price at $12.99. I used this $7.00 OFF coupon paired with a Target $5.00 Gift Card reward (for the purchase of this item) coupon found in July 26 Smart Source insert.

Transaction #2: For everything else, I paid a total of $8.11!!
-The Cranium games were on Clearance for $7.22 and I used 3 Hasbro Target coupons for $5.00 off each game.
-Most single serve cereals are regularly priced at $1.00, so if you find a $1/1 coupon, you can get these for free. Here's a $1/1 Target coupon for Kashi cereal. Hurry! This coupon expires August 8th.
-PopTarts are priced at $1.52/box. I used two $0.75/1 Target coupons paired with two $0.55/1 coupons and got both boxes for $0.22/ea. Please note that the manufacturer's coupon is specifically for the Blueberry Muffin variety.
-I took advantage of the free Aquafresh sample that I mentioned on my Freebie Friday! post. I actually made money on this one. It was priced at $1.07 and the coupon took off $1.25... sweet!!
-For the Kotex Pantiliners I stacked a $2/1 Target coupon (July 26 SmartSource insert) with a $1/1 coupon (June 14 Sunday coupon insert) or printable coupon here.

T
otal for everything: $14.76!! Not bad...

Great shopping trip! I went tonight and the toys weren't such a great deal at my store, but I scored on groceries

Cute blog! You found some great deals this week. I have yet to attempt a trip to Target using coupons. Mainly because I don't have one nearby. Thanks for posting on my linky.

Christmas presents is a good idea for the games. But I was wondering what you were planning on doing with them.

Thank you so much. I am a newbie at this but I saved on my Target trip today. The Kashi was gone, but I will check back later this week. Can you combine coupons at Target? What other stores allow this?

Rachel - You said it!! Christmas presents! I'll hold one box aside for a White Elephant gift at my husband's work holiday party!

Anonymous - Yes! You can stack coupons at Target! You can actually stack coupons at any store!! As long as one coupon is a STORE coupon and the second coupon is a MANUFACTURER'S coupon. That's the most important thing to remember when stacking coupons! The best time to stack your coupons is when the item is on sale already!! That's when the deals really get good!! Good luck!

Thanks for stopping by me page. You too have some great savings! Awesome job. I MISS having a Target near. I am envious of those that live near one. Keep up the great savings. Also, I noticed your post on the envelope method - we do that. It's a great way to keep your budget in check. I'll definitely stop back by to see how you're doing. Keep it up! :)

I just read my comment....I meant to say thanks for stopping by my page, not me. Sounds kind of cool though, right? ;)

Oh! I wish I had known about the Hasbro Target coupon before we went shopping yesterday. We picked up a game as a birthday gift, could have helped out.
